I’m Okay with Mess Sometimes by Ree

We had a wonderful Christmas on the ranch! It went by too fast, but I still managed to wolf down prime rib, mashed potatoes, fried quail, biscuits and gravy, and shrimp/cocktail sauce in one 24-hour period.

The kids are all together!

I love it when Alex is home. It’s the best feeling. It’s like my birds are all in the nest, my kittens are all in the cubbyhole, my puppies are all in the bed, my joeys are all in the pouch.

I have no idea why I threw in an Australian/marsupial reference there. My point is, I love it when my babies are all in my bosom!

(My figurative bosom.)

I posted this on Instagram and pointed out that it was the best photo Marlboro Man and I took in our pajamas in front of the tree this year, which isn’t saying much! Ha. We tried to stand still, smile, and look well behaved, but we are too competitive and once one of us starts a rib-poking war, the other won’t let it pass and before we know it, the Christmas tree pajama marital photos are A MESS!!!

But I’m okay with mess sometimes.
