Happy Monday, friends! Today happens to be President’s Day, and we’re at the tail end of a long weekend. Many parts of the country have been taking a beating weather-wise, so chances are, you’ve been riding things out at home for a couple of days. Are you running out of board games to play and movies to watch? Is cabin fever starting to kick in, with the occasional barrage of “I’m bored! There’s nothing to do!” from the peanut gallery? Here’s an idea: put ’em to work!
Well, not really work-work. It’ll be fun work! They’ll learn stuff, you’ll challenge their creativity, and in the end, you’ll all have tasty treats to enjoy. Everyone wins!
Here are 10 ideas from our Food & Friends posts to get you started.

They’ll experience the joy of lifting someone else’s spirits, and see how there really can be more happiness in giving than receiving.
And there you have it: 10 things to make or do with the kids in the kitchen today! If you have any favorite kid-friendly recipes, projects or activities, share them with us in the comments! We’d love to hear them.
