Many folks are busy gearing up for some serious holiday cooking next week. Refrigerator space has been cleared and the complex dance of musical chairs has been choreographed. (Except in this case, instead of people, we have pots and pans; and instead of chairs, we have the lineup of stovetop, oven, slow cooker, and roaster.) All those pinned recipes have been whittled down to a select few to attempt alongside well-established favorites, and by golly, there might even be a signature cocktail in the works. Food takes center stage next week, or, ideally, shares some of the limelight with family and friends. Which we’re all about here because, well, you know. Food and friends, right?
