Who’s ready for some chocolate? We are! Yes, we know we just talked about incredible Chocolate Peanut Butter Lava Cakes last week. But we’re always ready for chocolate in all its glorious forms: cakes, mousses, ice cream, pies, cookies, you name it. It’s the language of love, chocolate is, and it speaks to us. All the time.
Maybe it’s speaking to you too, and if so, then this post is for you. We’ve gathered some of the most tempting, decadent chocolate creations from our contributors, so pull up a seat and join us!
Chocolate Crepes with Orange Cream Cheese Filling. Breakfast in bed just got a serious upgrade! These will knock their socks off. Even if they don’t sleep with socks.
Chocolate-Dipped Mocha Cannoli. There’s chocolate in every component of this, and that’s the way it should be.
Chocolate Bourbon Caramel Cups. Because chocolate says “I love you,” and bourbon caramel adds “very, very much.”
Strawberry Nutella Puff Pastry. Three ingredients is all it takes to make this simple and delicious dessert.
Chocolate Pudding. Go old-school and feel like a kid again! Except this is silky, thick, rich and luscious with a French custard feel. So, better. Much better.
Simple Chocolate Truffles. Rich and creamy, these are basically chocolate ganache in ball form. Give it an extra something-something with a touch of cayenne.
Caramel Macchiato Cupcakes. Inspired by a coffee drink, this starts with a boxed mix so you can make these cupcakes happen that much sooner.
Chocolate Sugar Cookie Hearts. Okay, how adorable are these! These sugar cookies are made in a pan and cut out with cookie cutters, so no sticky dough rolling! If you want to skip the pink frosting, you can simply dunk the cookies in a bowl of chocolate ganache. Because a chocolate bath never hurt anyone—or any cookie.
9 Ways to Elevate Cake Mix. Hack your favorite cake mix and help it be all that it can be. Devil’s Food Cake, I’m looking at you.
White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies with Sea Salt. Okay, white chocolate can join the fun too. Especially if it invites macadamia nuts along.
Those are just some of our current favorite chocolate things. And we haven’t even talked about donuts, Swiss roll cakes, or caramelized white chocolate (yep, you read that right). We’re going to need a second chocolate post.
How about you? Any favorite chocolate treats? Clever ways you use chocolate? Deep, dark cocoa confessions? Spill the beans below!
