Bryce and I were driving home to the ranch the other evening and were smacked in the face by this gorgeous sunset! As I am wont to do, I pulled over on the shoulder, flicked on my hazards, and snapped approximately ninety million photos.
I’ve done this for as long as I can remember, and my kids are used to it. In this case, we were on our way back to the ranch, but the poor dears have endured many a late arrival to basketball practice, homeschool co-op, and tournaments because their mom had to pull over and take photos of the sunset/sunrise. It’s an illness! It’s an obsession! I love it when the sun shows up and I love it when the sun goes away. Beauty and glory ensue!
Well, guess what? On this particular evening, Bryce asked me if he could take some photos with my phone. He snapped a series of photos, all of them capturing the awesome Oklahoma sky. He even got out of the car once we turned onto our road and tried a few different angles.
I love passing along my issues to my kids! Now it can be Bryce’s own fault when he’s late for practice.
Heh heh.
