First, a Boarding House update! This is the ceiling in the Tack Room.
We’re moving furniture in. It’s gettin’ real! This is the Drugstore Room.

The Ranch Room! Much decorating to be done, but you can see the bare bones at least.
This is the Black and White room, and I didn’t think I’d like it…but ooooooh. I think it’s lovely! I have some black-and-white photos planned for the walls, and a couple of color pops here and there.
Butterfly Room bathroom. Just stick a cot in here and it can be my new home.
We are going to wrap up the decor and things over the next couple of weeks, then we will be able to open up the BH for reservations! Here is the website, where you can sign up for updates when we’ll be open!
We have been in Colorado for our Griswold family vacation. Mauricio, Alex’s friend, came along for three days. It was fun having the college students along, even though they had to leave early to get back to COLLEGE. I guess making it to class is some kind of requirement in college?

Oh, here’s one from dinner last night! I had sweet potato gnocchi. Alex had beef bourguignon. Marlboro Man had steak and fries. Paige had Coq au Vin. It was all delicious!
Someone at the table had chicken fingers, too. Which cracked me up.
It is so strange to be in Colorado with all these big, humongous kids. Where has the time gone?

In still other news…I miss Uncle Festus, otherwise known as Henrietta, otherwise known as Henry! He is staying with friends and having a ball, but I need to sniff his Frito paws and be in the presence of his Basset Hound wonderfulness.
