Nothing new has happened on the new balcony of The Boarding House except Christmas greenery, which makes my heart go pitter-pat. Can Christmas greenery be left up all year? If so, at what point do you stop calling it Christmas greenery and just call it greenery? Please advise.
This is one of the new openings that will lead out onto the balcony deck.
Next time I take photos, I’ll go out on the deck and snap a photo of the “skyline” of Pawhuska. It’s charming!
Below the two floors of hotels will be a store, and next door will be a new event space! It will allow us to welcome more groups than we are able to accommodate at the present time because of seating limitations in the Merc’s restaurant, and we can have weddings, celebrations, and hoe-downs! It should be a fun time.
Oh! We are having a Spelling Showdown on PW Fun & Learning this evening. The prizes are great (all kitchen things!) and you get to test your knowledge of spelling. Be there or be square!
Here are three of my favorite things in The Merc right now. These little dishes. Lovely!
This water faucet soap dish. Cute!
And this pug mug, because it’s just fun to say the phrase “pug mug.” It reminds me of the “Pugs Not Drugs” t-shirt I’ve always wanted to own, but I probably won’t considering I don’t wear t-shirts.
I hope to fix that in 2018, however. One of my New Year’s Resolutions is, in fact, to wear a t-shirt.
What are yours?
Or do you need to get past Christmas before you start thinking about those things?
Happy Wednesday, friends!
