Things have been busy around here, so I thought I’d just post a random update about life on the ranch and at The Merc.
I posted this on Instagram last week, but wanted to share here. This is my favorite shirt of all time. If I had to choose a shirt to wear everyday for the rest of my life, this would be the one.
(Oh, I’d wash it. From time to time.)
Heeeeere’s Walter! This is our mud room sofa, which has seen better days. But Walter loves it. (And he’s lying on a quilt, covered by a quilt, with his head on a pillow. We’ve been trying to make him feel better since Charlie’s passing…and I think it’s working. Haha.)
I forgot about Snapchat for awhile…but remembered it last week. And that is the reason I usually do my own makeup for my cooking show and other things: I don’t like getting there the required 1-hour in advance!

We did something kind of neato last weekend: We offered Super Bowl party packs for folks to come pick up.
And by “folks,” I mean me. Ha! Queso, spinach dip, salsa, pico de gallo, fresh fried chips, wings, brisket, pulled pork…
I love football!
We’re also having Valentine’s dinners for two, which end with this.
Oh my.
Have I ever shown you our wrapping paper? It completes me.
But not as much as these Marilyn finger puppets complete me.
I think I like being a shopkeeper.
